This handsome basement-entry home provides full living space upstairs with expansion possibilities downstairs. The open living/dining room is enhanced by a sloping ceiling at one end and a nine-foot exterior wall height at the other end. The room is warmed by a gas fireplace. A circle-top feature window adds design interest. The rear kitchen includes a corner sink with windows and a pantry for extra storage space. Sliding glass doors from the breakfast nook lead to a large sundeck that also includes a covered area. The master suite is situated at the front of the house and features a large, boxed window seat that makes a cosy nook for a quiet read. The three-piece en suite has a bathtub/shower combination, while bedrooms two and three share the three-piece main bathroom. Central linen and broom closets provide storage space and a skylight brings natural light into the hallway. Downstairs, the den is adjacent to the entrance foyer, making it well suited to be used as a home office. The rear half of the basement is divided to provide the potential for a one-bedroom suite and is roughed-in for a three-piece bathroom. An unfinished recreation room has a roughed-in wet bar and sliding glass doors that lead outside to a covered patio. A laundry room, coat closet, storage area and double garage complete the lower level. The exterior is finished with brick, horizontal siding and cedar shakes for a clean, classic look. This house measures 38 feet, 8 inches wide and 41 feet deep and has 1,168 square feet of finished living space.
